Procedure for Checking Ventilation and Changing Filters
Annex 3 to the Danish Working Environment Authority’s guidelines on classification of laboratories, facilities, and production.
Among other things, the procedure may describe:
- How the company should handle used filters. The method is the same as for GMO waste.
- Which personal protective equipment and what special work clothes must be used when checking the ventilation and changing a filter.
- Where to obtain protective equipment and work clothes.
- How bags on air input systems for Classes 2-4 must be autoclaved when being changed or cleaned.
- For Classes 2-4, the company must describe the ventilation and the procedures for changing filters.
