Apply to have foreign qualifications recognised
The Danish Working Environment Authority must approve certain qualifications before foreign workers may commence work.
Companies which use foreign labour should be aware that there are a number of tasks and duties which foreign workers are not allowed to perform in Denmark before their qualifications have been recognised by the Danish Working Environment Authority.
Professional qualifications in this regard can include both education and training or work experience.
It is important to apply in good time as the qualifications will need to be assessed and recognised by the Authority before the work can be commenced.
